The Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, has released a recruitment notification for multiple civilian posts for the year 2026. Candidates can apply for positions such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Civilian Motor Driver, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Stenographer Grade-II, Network Administrator, Line Man, Boat Builder, and several other technical posts.

Selection Process
The DSSC Recruitment 2026 selection process will begin with a written examination. The exam will include questions from General Knowledge, Mathematics, English, Reasoning, and technical subjects related to the post.
The written examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.
Candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear for skill tests or physical tests depending on the post applied for. These may include:
- Typing Test
- Stenography Test
- Driving Test
- Technical Skill Assessment
After completing all stages, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
The examination and skill tests will be conducted at DSSC Wellington. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the recruitment process.
