Recruitment Conducted for 7,500 Vacancies
The recruitment drive was organized to fill a total of 7,500 constable posts across the state. The written examination was conducted between October 30 and December 15, 2025, across 11 cities in Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Ratlam, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi, and Ujjain.
A massive 9,78,059 candidates had applied for these positions, highlighting the intense competition for government jobs in the state.
First Phase Result and Physical Test
The result of the written examination (first phase) was declared on January 25, 2026. A total of 57,985 candidates qualified for the next stage, which was the Physical Proficiency Test (PPT).
The physical tests were conducted from February 23 to March 14, 2026, across 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh, moving the recruitment process closer to completion.
How the Final Result Was Prepared
The final merit list has been prepared using the Normalised Equi-Percentile (NEP) method. This approach combines scores from both the written examination and the physical efficiency test to ensure a fair and balanced selection process.
Out of the total vacancies, 6,525 candidates have been finally selected. The distribution includes 87% of positions under the main category and 13% reserved for OBC candidates.
