Eligibility Criteria for NPCIL Executive Trainee 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- A BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) degree or a 5-year Integrated MTech degree in the relevant discipline
- Minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or institute approved by AICTE/UGC
- A valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026) in the same engineering discipline
Final-year students or those awaiting results in 2026 can also apply, but they must fulfill degree requirements at the time of selection.

Selection Process
The selection for Executive Trainee posts will be done based on:
- Shortlisting using GATE 2024/2025/2026 scores

- Final selection will be based only on interview performance

Salary and Benefits
During Training
- Monthly stipend: ₹74,000 approx.
- One-time book allowance: ₹30,000
- Accommodation and food facilities provided by NPCIL
After Training
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C with:
- Pay Level-10 salary: ₹56,100 per month
- Additional allowances such as DA and other government benefits
