Education News, Rajasthan : The Panchayati Raj Department is set to take strict action against employees who secured jobs using fake documents. The Special Operations Group (SOG) is conducting a detailed investigation, and those found guilty will soon be removed from their positions. Legal proceedings will also be initiated against them.
Speaking at a felicitation ceremony organized by ministerial staff, Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar made it clear that the government is taking the matter seriously and will ensure accountability.
Focus on Promotions in Education and Panchayati Raj
The minister highlighted that since assuming office, the government has prioritized clearing pending departmental promotions. So far, more than 50,000 promotions have been completed in the Education Department.

He added that promotions across all cadres in the Sanskrit Education Department have already been finalized. Additionally, around 25,000 more promotions are expected to be carried out soon. In the Panchayati Raj Department as well, promotions are progressing steadily, with 750 ministerial staff members recently promoted.
Cadre Review to Be Initiated Soon
The minister also mentioned plans to review the cadre structure of the Panchayati Raj Department. He stated that necessary directions will be issued after reaching Jaipur to streamline the system and improve efficiency.
Teacher Shortage Addressed with Recruitment Drive
Responding to concerns raised by Meenadevi Sahu, the principal of Sathur School in Hindoli, regarding the shortage of teachers, the minister clarified the government’s approach. Instead of opening new schools or expanding streams, the focus is on strengthening existing institutions by appointing more teachers.

He informed that 30,000 teachers have already been recruited, and there are plans to hire around 1.5 lakh more in the future. Alongside school upgrades, new posts are also being created to support the education system.
