Haryana D.El.Ed Admission 2026-28 Begins: Online Applications Open from May 4

Haryana D.El.Ed Admission 2026-28 : The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana has officially announced the admission process for the Haryana D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) / JBT course for the 2026–28 session. This two-year professional teacher training program is offered in both government and self-financed institutions across the state.

The entire admission process will be conducted through a centralized online counseling system, ensuring transparent and merit-based seat allocation across institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Haryana D.El.Ed Admission 2026-28 must meet the following requirements:

• Must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) from Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani or an equivalent board.
• Should have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 with five subjects.
• English must be one of the subjects passed in 10+2.
• Hindi or Sanskrit must have been studied at the matriculation level.

Course Fee Structure

For self-financed institutions in Haryana:

• The annual fee is ₹25,800 per year.
• This fee does not include the exam fee, which will be charged separately.
• The second-year fee must be paid after completing the first-year examination, as per official guidelines.

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction and examination for the D.El.Ed program will be Hindi and English, except for subjects like Urdu, Punjabi, and Sanskrit, which will be taught in their respective languages.

Merit List and Selection Process

Admission will be based purely on merit, calculated from the percentage of marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. There will be no entrance test.

Stream-wise Seat Distribution

Seats in each institution will be allocated according to the following stream-wise distribution:

Arts	40%
Science	30%
Commerce	28%
Vocational	2%

Additionally, 15% of the total seats are reserved for candidates from outside Haryana. If these seats remain vacant, they will be converted into the general category.
